Deborah is a professional Fine Art Photographer who is now specializing in wall art & travel photography. She has been in the photography industry for 40 years professionally for the last 20. Deborah owned & operated a successful photography studio in Lawson Heights Mall, Saskatoon for many years in which she did portraits, families, children, weddings etc.
She is a member of MPIO (Master Photographers International Organization) & has her Craftsman of Photographic Arts and is very close to receiving her Masters designation. Along with this she has also been accredited in Portraiture, Wildlife, Nature, Wedding, Children Photography, Pictorial & Fine Art.
Deborah’s portfolio includes International award winning images that have appeared in publications numerous times, most recently in Outdoor Photography Canada & our local paper Clark’s Crossing Gazette along with many other articles and accolades. This past year one of her images “Positively Pooped” won MPIO International Class Award for Wildlife Photography & also received the highest score entry for a Craftsman Photographer. This image also won Best of Show 2016 at the Saskatchewan Art & Wildlife Association. Another image “Double Vision” won her a Class Award in Fine Art
Photography and she also received 2 Awards of Distinction, awards that few get to take home. With her success this last year it also placed her in the running for International Photographer of the Year.
Deborah & her husband Stan have been residents of Warman for the past 5 years, she is also the mother of 2 grown children and is a member of the Warman Chamber of Commerce. Deborah is now excited to be offering headshots for Businesses mentoring aspiring photographers & offering classes through Route 11 Creative Art Centre.
